Precision
We plan cabinetry around exact measurements, clean reveals, balanced proportions, and details that feel intentional from every angle.
Modenza designs and crafts custom cabinetry, paneling, and interior systems for homes where architecture, materials, and daily living need to work as one.
About Modenza
Modenza is a Los Angeles cabinetry and interiors studio focused on custom kitchens, architectural millwork, wall paneling, built-ins, vanities, wardrobes, and refined storage systems. We work with homeowners, designers, builders, and architects who want interiors to feel considered from the first drawing to the final installation.
Our role is to bring design clarity into highly detailed spaces. A kitchen, wardrobe, or paneled room is not only a collection of cabinets; it affects how a home moves, how light lands on materials, how objects are stored, and how daily routines feel. That is why every Modenza project begins with listening, measuring, planning, and refining before anything is produced.
The studio combines modern European design principles with the practical demands of California living. Clean proportions, durable surfaces, precise hardware, and thoughtful details guide the work, while each project remains personal to the client, the architecture, and the way the home is used.
Principles
Five principles guide every Modenza project, from the first design conversation to the final installation.
We plan cabinetry around exact measurements, clean reveals, balanced proportions, and details that feel intentional from every angle.
Every system is shaped around the architecture of the home, so cabinetry, paneling, appliances, lighting, and storage work together instead of competing.
Materials are selected and finished with discipline, from wood tone and grain direction to hardware, edge details, and long-term durability.
Clients receive a guided process with careful communication, clear decisions, and documentation that helps design and production stay aligned.
No two homes use space the same way. We design around routines, collections, cooking habits, wardrobe needs, and the atmosphere each client wants to live with.
Modenza grew from a simple observation: many homeowners could find beautiful inspiration, but struggled to turn that inspiration into cabinetry that was technically sound, properly coordinated, and built with the level of care the home deserved. The studio was created to close that gap between design intent and finished craft.
Today, our process is shaped around collaboration. We help clarify the layout, select materials, coordinate finishes, review proportions, and guide clients through the many decisions that determine whether a space feels merely finished or truly resolved. The result is cabinetry and paneling that looks quiet, feels substantial, and works naturally over time.
Why Modenza? Because we treat cabinetry as part of the architecture, not as an afterthought. Our team is focused on precision, communication, and a finished experience that feels calm, elevated, and deeply usable.
For clients who want to understand the work in person, the Studio City showroom brings those decisions into a physical space. Materials, scale, storage details, finishes, and hardware can be seen and touched before a project begins, making the design process more confident and more personal.
Showroom
The showroom is where Modenza becomes tangible: finishes, proportions, cabinet details, hardware, and storage ideas can be experienced in person before the project moves forward.
